Living a Life of Action
Each person has a certain idea on where they want their life to lead towards. However, most of the people do not know how they should go about doing it. Even if they do have sort of a plan, they do not know if it will indeed work out in the end or not. This uncertainty often leads people to give up on their ideas midway, rather than persevering till the end to see the final outcome. Good or bad, it can only be known once you reach the end of something. If you have tried your best and went as far as you could, then that is considered an end for you and you are fully capable of making a conclusion for yourself. However, most people would start with an idea they cherish but never invest themselves to see it reach its fruition. That is because ideas without specific actions are just wishes.
If you want to see your ideas to completion, the first thing you need to understand is that action is the foundational part of the process. Your ideas are there to motivate you into action so you can actually achieve something worth your efforts. If you lack the necessary action, then even the most brilliant and innovative idea will become a burden for you.
Actions Fuel Your Ideas
If I ask you to think of a balloon, most likely you will always imagine a picture of an inflated and colourful balloon rather than a deflated one. That is because only the final shape or the most prime form of something is the most impressionable part in our minds, as it defines the whole purpose for its existence. Similarly, your ideas are like deflated balloons which require relevant action from you to act as the air inside them. Only when the air is provided by incorporating the required actions with your ideas, will the final shape blossom and become worth all of your efforts.
It is important to note the proper place for both your ideas and the actions required to achieve them. If you simply present your ideas to people around you, then no matter how wonderful they might actually be in your mind, they will never have the same impact on other people. The reason being that only you can see the future of your developed idea in a way that motivated you in the first place. For others, it will always be nothing more than an empty talk.
If you truly want to reach others, you should focus on the ideas and figure out the necessary action required to shape them into a reality. The more wonderful your idea is, the more difficult it will be for you to find all the necessary actions required to achieve it. And that is what you should do. Find something that you believe is wonderful and start working on it even if it means only working on a small part of it. As long as you keep the idea to yourself and focus on doing small but incremental work, I guarantee that people around you will come to see the worth of your idea by themselves.
Conclusion
By shifting the focus in your life to action, you let your ideas become your motivation and your main driving force and continue to make headway towards a better future. And since you opted to actually do the work rather than broadcasting it first, it will not matter how many times you fail along the way nor will it matter how long it takes for you to reach your destination. Because, one day you will reach there for sure and that is what would matter in the end.
